FICT is happy to announce that the 2014 world championships were held at Grones on Saturday 26 July. As befits a world championship, it turned out to be a grueling match of four hours - including mandatory breaks for champagne and swimming - with a highly dramatic finish. Team green was off to an early lead with teams orange and black hot on their heels. Team yellow was off to a disastrous start but staged an impressive comeback and caught up with the other teams just as the game drew to a nerve-wrecking close. With only one more opponent to roquet, team orange committed suicide, giving team yellow the first shot at winning. They missed the shot by fractions of an inch, opening the way for team green to clench the title. FICT concratulates team green, consisting of Messrs. Håkon Larsen and Hallvard Ekker, with their victory.
